Waitlist privacy notice
Nibs isn’t out yet, so this notice only covers the waitlist on this website. We’ll publish a full privacy policy for the app before it launches.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- When you joined, and which version of the sign-up wording you agreed to.
- Which form you used, plus — if they were in the link you followed — campaign tags (like
utm_source) and the website that sent you here.
To stop spam and abuse, we also keep a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address for up to 24 hours. We never store your IP address itself.
Why
To tell you when Nibs launches and to send you occasional launch news. That’s it. We rely on your consent, which you give by joining — and you can withdraw it at any time.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your email or share it with advertisers.
- We don’t ask for anything we don’t need.
- This site doesn’t set advertising or tracking cookies.
Where it’s kept
Sign-ups are stored in a secured database run by our infrastructure provider (Supabase), who processes it only on our behalf. The waitlist is never publicly visible.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, unsubscribe, or we no longer need it for launch updates — whichever comes first.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or leave the waitlist, at any time. Email hello@nibsapp.com and we’ll sort it. Every email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe. If you’re in the UK and unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
